Vance County is a county located in the North Carolina.
Henderson Fire Station and Municipal Building and Vance County Courthouse are just two properties included on the National Register of Historic Places in Vance County.
Originally part of colony of Virginia, King Charles of England redrew the colony lines in 1665, so what is now Vance County became part of the Province of Carolina and then the Province of North Carolina in 1725.
Granville County, NC
Granville County is a county located on the northern border of North Carolina.
In the 1950s and 1960s, various manufacturing businesses built up across Granville County, and the region gradually became more industrialized. Today, the manufacturing industry produces cosmetics, tires, and clothing products in Granville County.
The Granville County Courthouse, of Greek Revival architecture, was built in 1840 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Franklin County has three county parks located in Louisburg, Franklinton and Pilot NC. They offer different amenities for county residents. Owens Park has 4 fishing ponds, Kids Playgrounds, picnic shelter, and several trail. Franklinton Park has a baseball and softball field, picnic shelter that can be reserved for outings, a walking trail, a quarter mile track and a soccer field. Pilot Park offers a baseball and softball field, walking trail, and a picnic shelter for rental.
